Krystie Serviss hails from Long Island, New York and has over a decade of performance, teaching and choreography experience. Krystie received her B.A. in Dance Performance, specializing in Dance Education from Slippery Rock University. She took part in many National Dance Festivals, choreographed for and performed in Fall, Winter and Faculty/Guest Concerts and was even the first student to produce, direct and present her works in her own showcase, “Break the Mold”. Her choreography was also selected to perform in the professional dance company’s, Evolve Productions, ‘LOVE production’ in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In 2011, Krystie was chosen by Slippery Rock University's dance department to study abroad and dance in Paris, France. There, Krystie studied under the most prestigious instructors from the Paris Opera and was photographed in their Parisian dance magazine. Krystie has been choreographing since the age of 17. She won her first National title for her choreography at only the age of 18. From there, she has received many prestigious awards as a competition team coach and choreographer such as over 10 Industry Dance Awards Nominations, over 15 regional and national choreography awards, dance studio excellence awards, and many overalls. Her students can be seen modeling for dancewear, assisting conventions, receiving scholarships at conventions as well as performing for artists such as Kanye West. With her Industry Dance Awards nominations, she had the amazing opportunity to attend the awards ceremony as well as the Dancer’s Against Cancer Brunch in Los Angeles, California.
Dance has been a part of Krystie’s life since she was three years old. When asked what she wanted to be growing up, the answer was consistently a dance teacher and dance studio owner. Krystie is so excited to be the Director of Footworks and could not be anymore thankful for the opportunity. Sharing her gift of teaching with children of all ages is what brings her the most joy. Krystie hopes to instill work ethic, confidence, determination and a passion for dance in each of her dancers. At Footworks, she wants to provide not only dance training in a fun, safe and positive environment, but also a second home to every dancer who walks through the door.
Krystie is thrilled that she is able to spread her love and joy of dance to the younger generations and hopes to continue to inspire, motivate and mentor dancers for years to come.

STACY LASCUOLA
Instructor & Choreographer
Originally from Bethlehem, PA, Stacy began her love for dance at the age of 3. During her studio years she studied jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, lyrical, and was a part of her studios competition team. Since Stacy loved the stage so much she was also a part of theater throughout all her school years. During high school Stacy performed in many theater productions and served as assistant choreographer.
Continuing to study the subject she loved the most, Stacy majored in Dance at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. During her 4 yrs at SRU she was involved with the Slippery Rock Dance Theater which would perform multiple times throughout the year as well as many opportunities for student choreography. This is where she fell in love with modern dance and improvisation. During her junior year, Stacy was hand selected by the dance department to study abroad in London, England.
After graduating from Slippery Rock University she was sought out to teach dance at the University for their Continuing Education program for local children. On top of instructing at a multiple location studio right out of college she would also find herself teaching dance to local middle schoolers through the Dance Alloy of Pittsburgh.
In 2002, Stacy took a leap of faith and moved to Florida with her now husband. She instantly landed a dance instructor position which allowed her to choreograph for the Macy’s Day Parade at Universal Studios, as well as many community performances and community parades. Stacy also had the privilege to have her work adjudicated by a panel of well-known So You Think You Can Dance choreographers.
In 2011, she made the move to Footworks where she has been teaching as well as choreographing for the Competition and Performance dance teams. She has also been a big part of the Winter Garden Christmas Parade for Footworks.
Stacy has enjoyed her time at Footworks since day one and is always looking forward to the future.
